Full Description :-
The Qibla Compass determines the direction of the Qiblah (Ka’bah in Mecca). Many Muslims in the Islamic religion use this Qibla Compass to determine the precise direction of Mecca for prayer five times each day. These Qibla compasses have the standard 0 – 360 degree scale, as well as the 0 – 400 scale. Both of these scales are used in conjunction with a table of major cities and their Qibla codes, for determination of the Qiblah. The Qibla Compasses come complete with an instruction booklet that contains a list of cities and a number associated with each city in the range of 0 to 400, to compensate for the difference in magnetic North and true North.
To find the direction of Mecca using the Qibla Compass, first look up the Qibla code number for your current location. Then rotate the compass until the red North end of the compass needle points to the number of your location. The Minaret pointer (located at 0) on the Qibla Compass now points in the direction of Mecca. About every 10 years the numbers are revised due to changes in the earth’s magnetic variation.
